Tour Plan
Day 1 - Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Siliguri to Gangtok, (130kms in 04-05 hrs)
On arrival our team will assist you to the vehicle for the further journey. Driver will set your luggage and then you will depart for your dream destinations.Throughout your journey, you can enjoy the versatility in climate. Pleasant weather will win your heart completely. On the way, you will pass through Mahananda Wild life Sanctuary (Not a sightseeing point) and more this journey offers magnificent views of the mountains, valleys and village life, the forest, waterfalls along with Teesta River view.
After around 05 hrs drive, reach Gangtok, check in at hotel and take rest. We suggest you to have good sleep for next day tour. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2 - Tsomgo Lake with Baba Mandir Excursion – 52kms in 3hrs - One way (Timing: 09:30AM to 03:30PM)
Wake up around 07.30 am and get fresh and have heavy breakfast till 09.00am. After receiving permit We drive you to Tsomgo Lake / Chhangu Lake (Alt 12000ft/3600M), a high altitude alpine lake close to Indo-China Border. The 1 km long and 15m deep lake is considered sacred to the local people. The pure clear water remains frozen during winter. Enjoy playing in snow and Yak Ride. There is a ropeway also to enjoy aerial view of Lake. Proceed further to Legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (“Hero of Nathula” An Indian soldiers who was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra medal for his bravery and known for doing his duty still after death). Please carry some snacks / fruit as there is no option for food.
Optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14000Ft / 4200M) on China Border can also be arranged (Except Monday) for Indian Nationals only with 2 Days Advance Request at an additional cost. (Permit for Nathula Pass is subject to availability)
Back to Gangtok city for late Lunch. Take some rest. Or you may visit the famous M G Marg (by own arrangement). It is now more like a long stretch of open mall or avenue square where locals and tourists take leisure stroll or just sit and relax on one of the many benches laid along the middle and both sides of the road to enjoy the ambience. The entire area is free of litter, smoke and vehicle. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Documents need to carry: Original id proof (Anyone out of Voter ID/ D.L/ Passport) + 02 Photocopies + 04 Passport size photos. (Pan Card & Aadhar Cards are not acceptable)
Day 3 - Gangtok city tour (Timing 09:30AM to 4:30PM)
Post breakfast, you will visit main tourist attractions of Gangtok which includes Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok & Ropeway, Banjakhri Falls, Cottage Industry, Do-drul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Bakthang Waterfall (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 4 - Gangtok to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station, (130kms in 04-05 hrs)
Post breakfast, check out from Hotel and drive towards IXB / NJP. With lots of scenic beauty of his region and lovely moments, your heart will not allow you to leave this place but your destination is waiting for you. Our driver will drop you at NJP Railway Station / IXB Bagdogra Airport for further journey. Today your tour with Northeast Tour ends. Fly back with sweet memories of Northeast Tour. - Travel insurance of any kind.
- Expenses arising due to road blockage, landslides, natural calamities, political disturbances, flight/train delays, or any unforeseen circumstances.
